It is important to take care of your margarita machine to keep it in tip-top shape for each use. It is necessary to maintain it for efficient operation. Follow the below-mentioned steps to give your machine a perfect scrubbing before the next party.
Step 1: Get Rid of Excess Ice
The perfect method to get rid of any remaining ice in a reservoir is to pass it by machine. Just do this by holding a switch to shave & let the shavings fall into the mixing container until there is nothing left.
Check the backside of your margarita machine frequently when using an ice melt reservoir, and empty the water when it fills up.
Step 2: Disassemble Your Margarita Machine
Carefully disassemble your margarita machine. Each piece has an easy removal mechanism that makes it very simple for you to clean it all. Ensure the machine is unplugged before you start cleaning.
Separate all parts of your margarita machine in this order:
- Ice Reservoir Lid
- Ice Reservoir
- Shaving Paddle
- Ice Hopper**
- Blending Container
- Blending Container Lid
- Blending Jar Base
- Ice Melt Reservoir
These all parts include sharp blades, So, be careful!
Step 3: Clean Everything Off
Wash carefully the first 4 parts of the above list only with lukewarm water and soap. They are the sensitive parts of your machine and you need to handle them gently. Dry them properly.
You can wash the above listed last 4 parts with the help of a dishwasher if you want. Just put them on the top rack! If you do not, you may end up with damaged parts.
You can easily clean the outer side of the main machine, just use the damp cloth to wipe it off and let it look nice and shiny again.
Step 4: Put It Back Together
Once everything is properly clean and dry, reassemble your margarita machine in reverse order of how you separated it.
Make sure everything is neatly locked in place and seated properly. This way it is ready to go the next time you desire to use it.
